Belfast Boat Club is located in the Stranmillis area of Belfast and is a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Directions to the club from the two airports are below. If you would like directions or help with how to get to the club from anywhere else please contact us.
From Belfast City Airport
• Leave airport via UNDERPASS, on left as you come out of terminal building signed City Centre and Motorways - NOTE signs are at drivers eye level. Take city direction.
• On dual carriage (A2) head towards city, under bridge take NEXT left signed City Centre. Stay on left lane take next left off signed Newtownards A20 and Newcastle A24.
• At traffic lights go left following A24 signs then immediately right, then left following A24 through traffic lights. At next lights, a major junction, straight through signed Newcastle A24 over pedestrian crossing. At next lights turn right signed M1, follow signs M1 through 2 sets of lights, bear right after second set. Signed M1 over bridge stay in left lane 1 st left at roundabout is Lockview Road . The Belfast Boat Club is at the very end of the road on the left hand side.
From Belfast International Airport
• On leaving airport follow signs for M2
• On approach to Belfast follow signs for M3. On M3 follow signs for A24 to Newcastle.
• At traffic lights go left following A24 signs then immediately right, then left following A24 through traffic lights. At next lights, a major junction, straight through signed Newcastle A24 over pedestrian crossing. At next lights turn right signed M1, follow signs M1 through 2 sets of lights, bear right after second set. Signed M1 over bridge stay in left lane 1 st left at roundabout is Lockview Road . The Belfast Boat Club is at the very end of the road on the left hand side.
