Group Exercise
Group Exercise is an excellent way to build up fitness, make friends and complement work being done in the gym. There is a great variety and all of the group exercise is part of your membership. They are fun and there is something for everyone. If you are unsure of your own level of fitness please contact Laura on 02890 665012 to discuss the options
The following classes are available:
- Morning Workout Club – a fantastic way to start your day! You don’t know what you’re getting until you arrive in the morning – could be into the studio for swissball, express circuit or a workout in the gym. For all levels and abilities.
- Cycle Fit – Cycle fit is basically spin by another name. Like spin it burns serious calories and is great for fitness ......cycle fit classes are a must for those wanting results!
- Circuits – varies with each class and instructor. Using weights and body weight movements, you can achieve the benefits of both aerobic & anaerobic exercise in the same session. Circuits classes consist of a variety of timed stations and is great for an all over body workout.
- Swissball – is fast becoming an essential part of a workout. This is an extremely effective core conditioning class and has various other benefits including correcting posture weakness.
- 30/30 – an extremely popular class combining the 2 favourites – 30 mins Spin & 30 mins Circuits. A guaranteed fat burner!
- Abs Attack – full on ab workout … get to work on that six-pack!
- Yoga – stretches and strengthens gently. Reduces stress and increases mobility. Classes Monday 7.30 pm in the Aerobics suite with Donna McDonnell and 1.30 pm Tuesdays in the Function room with Ann Gorman, both fully qualified instructors. Suitable for all levels. - Belly Dancing – something different for the Ladies! Contact Joanne on 07894307190
- Express Workout – for those who want to use the studio during the day and don’t have a lot of time to spend in the gym. The Express Circuit is set up as a series of one minute stations timed by the individual. It combines spin bike, weights and body weight exercises. A full body workout in only 30 minutes.

To book a class please either call reception on 028 9066 5012 or drop into the club.
All Fitness Suite classes are free to members. Non-members can attend any classes including yoga, pilates and belly dancing for a fee of £5 per session.
