Social
The Belfast Boat Club is a great place to make friends, relax and enjoy the various events throughout the season. As well as the bar and restaurant facilities we hold fun nights in the function room which usually involve dinner and dancing with great live music. We even run our own Boat Club talent nights. Last year’s New Year’s Eve party was completely sold out.
Captain's Day is held in May and it is traditional to have tennis on the courts alongside a bbq, entertainment and bouncy castle for the kids. President’s night is another annual calendar event where members and guests get spruced up and dance the night away.
The mid summer solstice bbq and themed disco is another favourite and every Friday and Saturday night in December there are Christmas party nights. Equally, if you wish to hire the facilities for a private party you can do so. Go to the functions section for details.
Social membership is available and this entitles you to enjoy all of the social activities, including bridge and snooker.
Snooker
In the snooker room we have two full size tables available for members use. Members are welcome to bring visitors with them for a small visitor’s fee. The club as several teams in the local leagues and new members who are interested in playing should contact the club.
Bridge
If socialising and a game of Bridge is good for you then why not join in on a Thursday evening in our function room at 7.30pm. If you would like to try, but have never played bridge before, again feel free to contact the club for moreinformation.
